Wheel centre painting and pin stripe.

Post by Trefor »

I think export models have a red centre stripe, sliver pin stripe on either side. I have a 1952 G80S exported to NZ. I'm sure I read somewhere this was correct-can't remember where off hand. Black was home market

If you had a black tank the wheel centres were black.
If you had a red tank ditto.

It would look daft otherwise wouldnt it?

My 1950 model 18AJS has its original rims and has what is left of a black centre with gold pin striping either side.
