2328GZ
I have found some pictures of my Dad AJS that he restored in 1977. it would appear that it was featured in Jampot around 1980 ish
Rather than post them here, i have put them on line here. I now know it is a 650 can any one tell me what model it is please and any one know where it is?

Must be a 1964 G12 650. GZ prefixed by numbers is 1964.

Re: 2328GZ
First registered at Swansea 1972 would be more factual. ****GZ is a Belfast number used between Jan & Sept. 1964.
The bike appears to have been re registered and retained its original reg. no.

Re: 2328GZ
Thank you, i thought it at Northern Irish plates, So it is still about.
My Mum thinks the person that bought it from my Dad was some one from Jampot and lived in Isle Man, but that could be wrong or it might have been the 500 one or any of the others he had.
Would the details show on the DVLA if it was in the isle of man ?

It's all to be found on t'internet

Re: 2328GZ
The Isle of Man holds neither membership nor associate membership of the European Union.
Therefore, from the DVLA website........
If you're taking a UK-registered vehicle out of the country for 12 months or more (also known as permanent export) you need to:
1.
Tell DVLA by filling in the V5C/4 ‘notification of permanent export' section of your V5C registration certificate (logbook).
2.
Send it to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BD.
3.
Keep the rest of your V5C registration certificate - you will need this to register your vehicle abroad.
Thus the DVLA will remove it from their registration database.

I still have copy of Jampot August 1978 you wanted Dave, which featured the bike. Been in the glove compartment of my car ever since you asked for a copy. If you are at the section anytime and I'm in my car, ask for it.
