I am looking for any information on my Matchie 1951 G9. It has a tax disc from Dover in 1957.

OKE 184 is a Kent registration ( county in S.E. England ) issued during July & August 1951. With the help of the clubs dating officer he may be able to tell you which dealer the machine was sent to. Via frame and engine numbers. That would also give clues to if the tax disc is actually for the bike. I have brought old tax disc holders, mudguards etc with numbers on them, nothing to do with the bike I put the parts on.

Wow! job well done and a model I like myself. In particular the tank, It may look prewar with the red & Chrome finish, very pretty.
