Engine/gearbox top cover (tin)

Evenin all, is this the engine cover that sits on the top at the rear over the gearbox for a G2/14?? Quick response appreciated, I've only got less than 2hrs to bid!!

Doesn't look like the one that was on the AJS14CSR I had as a lad. Looks more like a heavyweight one that has been modified at the front.

Yes had a look, definatly chopped, prob h/w, glad it's not bobbed as well

It's from a twin, and it's not been chopped.

according to steve at amc spares [i phoned him, asking if he could dig me a second hand one out] he had some cover plates made and then found out that there are at least 3 different patterns. i've got about 6 sets of gearbox plates and some are different, one has the arm with thread pointing outwards and one has it pointing inwards, so the cover wouldn't fit one of them, at least. why not have a go at making one?

Could do, but I'd need a pattern, I don't have one at all.
