Hi All,
I see there seems to be quite a few people with AJS model 14's out there. Can some one please answer my question ?
When I run my bike with headlamp on ammeter do'snt show any charge.But is showing aprox 4amps charge with lights off ,is this normal or do I have a problem on the way ? Bike is an AJS 14 CSR 1967 with standard 6volt alternator / 30/24 watt headlamp bulb / new little jap battery which although lights are "POOR" batery has never gone flat .

hi,
on my g2 with the headlights on, the ammeter stays in the centre of the dial when running at a fast idle, on tickover it drops back about a quarter, that is with the ignition on normal, not emergency.
