Threads, pitches and spanners.
I got all them on my bike AND metric and I even have DNA double helix threads on the secondary chain tensioners. Right bugger cleaning them up I can tell you....

Threads, pitches and spanners.
SORTED
At the section meeting last night one of the members pointed out a shop where all manner of things can be done to (t)rusty steeds by a real engineer...
Odd thing is that the place looks like a derelict shop but as you go through the door you realise it is not as it is full of bikes, parts and workshop machinery and nothing newer than 30 years old!.
It is 1/2 a mile from my house and I never knew it existed.......
He is now going to helicoil all 9 threads in the head, the total cost is going to be less than a £29 kit, and it will be done properly.
Now to strip the rest of the bike down and get it round to him....
