Model 14 bought

Post by DM2 »

Not sure why, but I have just bought a Model 14 that has been hibernating for close on 40 years.

As I did not go and see it first it will be interesting to see how good (or bad) it is when it gets here.

Damp got at it in the garage, so I will start dosing it with penetrating oil as it may take a while
to get to it due to other projects

Wow, looks very original. Chaincase, head steady, headlamp, tinware all present. A rare find!

It has it's original reg number live on DVLA's system too, just need to send off for the V5C.

Two other bikes came in the same deal, an Ariel twin and a New Imperial so I now have too many pending projects, but this one has jumped to the front of the queue.
