Hi, I have my bike engine rebuild started fine with its carb now upgraded to Amal 626 Carb and wont start.
This carb was dismantled cleaned and re kitted. any ideas how to proceed before I go back to old one :/

Hmm, that's a bit sparse with information.
Is it jetted correctly?
Did you use a genuine AMAL rebuild kit?
Is fuel getting to the carb/can you flood it?
Is the sparkling plug getting wet?
Is the Pilot jet clear? (I've also read of some new carbs still having swarf inside).
Does it still have a spark? (After doing a simple job I've occasionally disturbed some wiring or forgotten to put the plug cap back on ).

The jet numbers, (sizes), are stamped into the jets and should correspond to your bike's owners manual as should the size of the throttle slide which is cast into its top.
Your problem sounds like the pilot jet is blocked.
