Hi Guys
Trying to sort out the wiring and according to the wiring diagram have there appears to be a 'Resistance wire' between the +ve battery and the lighting switch- I can't find mention of it in the handbook or sign of it on the original loom- any idea what the resistance is (ohms?)...and why is it there ?

Re: Resistance Wire
Thanks DM..I'm planning to replace the old rectifier with a solid state one- as I have with both my Beezas- will I still need the resistance wire ?

Re: Resistance Wire
Yes you should do by my reckoning as you're just basically swapping a rectifier, the rest is still the same.BeenyBoy wrote:Thanks DM..I'm planning to replace the old rectifier with a solid state one- as I have with both my Beezas- will I still need the resistance wire ?

Re: Resistance Wire
I'd do away with it the wire and separate rectifier and go solid state rectifier/regulator all in one unit, much more efficient and reliable.
