Hi, Can anyone suggest the correct routing for the clutch cable as it leaves the gearbox?
I have tried weaving it through the gearbox frame lugs but it seems too convolute and laying it on top of the lugs - the tin cover fouls it .
Cheers

Re: Clutch cable routing
Through the offside frame lugs and over and out the rear off the near side so the cover sits flat. It's a real game to get it to run nicely and still be light in operation. A nylon lined cable is a must along with the correct 7/8" pivot centre levers

Re: Clutch cable routing
Ah - Thanks Rob
Is this what you mean?
Out of the gearbox, under the O/S engine plate, through the middle of the two N/S engine plate frame lugs and then up between the two N/S side panel frame lugs?
Cheers

Yep pretty much like that. You can mess about with it by the nearside plate but the last one I put together went as you have it and with nylon lined cable and correct pivot levers it was nice and light.
