Re: 1965 G2CSR Clutch play
You are truly down the rabbit hole now...
I found a couple more photos of clutch plates. This was as far as I got with my attempts to identify them all.
PS: yes, you'll need to resize photos to 640x480 or 800x600 to post them here.

You have really excelled in you pursuit in helping me. Thank you

It's a toss between basket 3 or 4 with the duplex chain.
I will take some measurements when I get into work this morning to clarify.
Looking back at your archive pictures. I have noticed the two duplex baskets have ( teeth ) at the bottom of the clutch centre. ( mine do not )
The internal shoulder of the baskets ( 3 and 4 ) are in good condition. My internal shoulder is like a brake disk. This tells me the plate is spinning in opposition and making contact with the basket.
I will double check when I get in this morning.

The measurements are as follows...
Basket height from internal shoulder...1.0265" or 26.07mm.
Height/depth of clutch centre...1.589" or 40.36mm.
Cheers
Roger.
P.S. file still too large to upload

If you have a "no teeth" basket with a duplex sprocket, then I'm pretty certain that is the correct CSR part (043444).
It should have the 7-plate CSR clutch pack (3x 043191, 3x 043192, 1x 043193). All of these are available from club spares.
From your description, it sounds like someone has tried to fit a standard 250 pack to your bike - understandable, given that there's no factory documentation anywhere that explains the differences!
