1965 late csr tail light arrangement

Post by ColourNcoat »

Hi All, once again on a quest to find tail light mounting diagram/drawing. I have the number plate and light but unable to see how it is mounted to the rear mudguards.
Any close-up or diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a bracket at the bottom of the number plate where there it would attach with two BA screws up to the fairing part of the unit there should be welded in from the left to the right a 5/8th or so bracket with a square hole for one of those little sprung caged square nuts. So a bolt up through the mudguard screws into this captured nut.
Hope I'm not stating the obvious

I was told earlier that I couldn't list this question.
Thanks very much.
There doesn't seem to be anything on the tail light assembly.

I have the number plate and a bracket which is bolted to the mudguard.
The shroud that sits over the wires and attaches to the light assembly is missing. Not sure what it's called.
Many thanks for assistance

I now know what I need as the parts.
The problem is not knowing what I need and where to get them.
Thank you Peter.
Thank you all.
