G2 CSR Battery

Hi, was wondering if anyone could let me know the dimensions for the battery originally fitted to my Matchles G2CSR.It is the 6 volt one, Cheers, basketcase.

Hi Nigel.

Look on this site, http://www.burlen.co.uk/ the dry cell batteries they sell can come in a rubber case which looks like the old Exide battery. They are a very good battery as they do not self discharge. I bought one for my G5 over a year ago and it has never seen a charger, the original type of battery I have on my other two bikes I top up with the charger once a week this time of the year.
