Right,-- its Bed and Breakfast,-- a sinker for fly fishing,--or can be used for filtering animal oil, vegitable oils.

So this is what you put on slipping clutches?

fullers earth is a fine powder that is extremely absorbent of grease, used a lot by Aluminium polishers, chrome platers and jewellers for instance to remove finger marks etc.

Re the alternator coils I think you mean encapsulated , not laminated?
The early alternators were prone to the coils coming loose, so Lucas encapsulated them in resin. The chances of fire starting in the region and for the causes you state are about as likely as me proposing marriage to Carole Nash..

Oi Neville.... I thought you were meant to be enjoying a Trou Normande the W/E?

My lady's brought her interactive software with her ITMA, so I'm coming to you via her handheld Blackberry.
(Vaguely relevant to the wet clutch scenario).

I'd have thought Neville, that the last thing you needed was for your interactive ware to be soft?
