Information relating to the Matchless G2 or AJS Model 14 250cc Lightweight
Ken,you may remember that I had bottom-end problems with a G5 a couple of years ago,I was even greener then,but the local guy who helped me get it back together was quite sure that the original problem was caused by the failure of the breather tube where it screwed into the stator.When I ordered a new one it came with the thread at the opposite end,my supplier replaced it with one which he "made-up" himself.....still working,as far as I know.
Hard work never killed anyone.....but why take the risk?
