1959 lightwieght g2 big end

Post by jgwassell »

Hi, I have 1959 g2 250 with a seized big end. I have separated the crank. The crank pin,big end rod inner surface and flywheels next to the big end have all suffered some scoring. The flywheels are early cast iron type. Please can anyone tell me the best route to repair this problem with ball park cost? and then maybe the cheapest route?

I have a pair of flywheels you are welcome to.
I think they might be CSR but aren't sure.
I'll look them out tomorrow.
you will need shafts or a press to switch yours.

Hi, I have a press. Do you think my flywheels will have the same shafts as a CSR. What about the rod?
