Existing wheel bearings are open ball race packed with grease and sealed with felt seals. Question is can I replace with zz (sealed) bearings and do away with packing them with grease. The replacements I obtained from jampot spares, two fronts and one rear were sealed, am I supposed to dig out the shields and pack with grease or should I replace the odd open bearing and go all sealed?
Regards Rod.

Hi
I'm running sealed bearings front and rear and havent had any problems in 1000 miles.
I left the felt out because mine were all hard with congealed grease and just put the cap over the top. Looks good works well.
