G2 alternator / stator

Hi all,

Just in the process of putting my G2 back together after snapping the conrod. Anyone got a spare alternator they'd like to sell? The wiring coming from mine is decidedly brittle. Alternatively, I've heard it's possible to fit one from a heavyweight with some re-wiring. Anyone tried this, or got any ideas?

I'm told a lucus one will fit. Try http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/index.htm Goffy can be very helpfull.
