Lucas LU47204 stator

Can anyone tell me if I would be able to replace the wipac 114 stator on my 1961 ajs 14 with the lucas LU47204 stator, or another unit that is availible to replace it?

I have no idea what the references are so have don't know whether you're on 6v or 12v. However I do know that it's possible to get a 3-wire, 6v lucas alternator to fit. Depending on the size of your rotor, it's possible you can keep that.

I am running on a 6 volt system, which I intend keeping. I,ll take some measurments at the weekend now that I know a lucas unit can be obtained to fit and see what is availible.
