But having said that I would agree with you on the silly way metric measurements are shown. I can visualise what 3" looks like but have to resort to a ruler for 30mm[xx(]

Growing up with feet 'n' inches the metric does come hard and is no more logical or easier to visualise.

I work on the basis the 25 mm = 10" and 30 = 1' 60 = 2' etc and everything inbetween is exactly that!

......and why/how is plasterboard 6' long x 1200mm wide?
