AJS 14 solo seat?

Post by ClaraBow »

Anyone here run a a 14 or g2 with a solo seat? I've seen a G5 Matchless with one here:

Would a solo seat for the BSA C15 fit ok? I want to have a solo seat and maybe add a rack too? Kind of like the Triumph in The Great Escape.

Any suggestions?

AJS 14 solo seat?

Post by BigAl350 »

There's a nice-looking greenlaner G5 somewhere in the AMOC picture archives with a single seat. I tried to contact the person who posted the pic but never heard back from them, but I think the seat is just an adapted generic trials-type single seat, as sold by Sammy Miller, etc. They look okish on an off-roader but in my opinion, pretty ugly on a road-going Lightweight, unless you add a rack, and even then...

Regards,

Al (happy with his deluxe DUAL seat obtained from the spares scheme!)
