CSR 250 1966 Stator Fit..

Hi, on my 1966 CSR the primary chaincase is the one with a plain outer, no indentations and no place for a badge, just plain smooth alloy. I too have read in one of the technical articles about the earlier chaincase causing this problem. There is usually a later one on Ebay.

I did get a diffirent primary chain cover as suggested and there is a great rebait for the stator to sit which gives a far greater gap between the chain and stator.
