Thanks for the info Janet my clutch has by the looks of it 3 plates in it with the ears on.
when they say keep the oil in the gearbox full does that mean up to the clutch arm mechanism inspection cover?

Fill it to just before the oil leaks out from the oval-ish hole on the rh side of the gearbox. It's about 3 pints I believe.

heres one does anyone know the correct main and pilot jet sizes for above model for the standard monoblock carb??,

If you are really going to go down this silly route of intending fettling and riding your bike, I think you you need to get a manual.
I can't tell you the answer without looking it up but I believe the jet sizes for a CSR engine are different from the earlier G2. That will be because it's a superfast sports bike.

I agree with Janet, why not download a manual or two it stops errors and helps with the work i found.
To answer your question
G2 had a 376/99 Amam Mono The main jet should then be a 180. The needle was central (.106) pilot a 25.
The 250 CSR had different a 389/82 Amal (1 1.8" Bore)
Main 200, Pilot 30 Throttle slide 3. The 350cc was again different I Hope this helps.
