Hi everyone,
Just a little update, as promised. I have stripped the crankshaft down again, checked everything and guess what? I refitted the original damaged big-end pin by mistake
The damage/wear is so slight, but it throws the rod off centre and when the weghts are pressed together and torqued-up, it tries to straighten the rod and nips-up on one part of the revolution.
The rod is now sitting centre and is free moving
I have plenty of pics which I will upload when I start the rebuild thread.
Thank you all for your advice and suggestions.
Cheers
James

That's made me feel a lot better, it's not only me!
Great result.
I really liked my 14CSR and sure you'll be enjoying the G5 soon.
