Some things can't be rushed Janet. (It wouldn't be a water cooled flat twin would it?)

7 years Janet? I have had my 1928 AJS since 1993 and keep meaning to start work on it!

Ahh well theres lies and damn statisics, Its been a while since i was active on the forum and the G5's sat lonely on the bench. Anyway its winter and i am determined to get her on the road in time for this years 8th Annual Aviation Heritage Wolds Run 4th May 2015 see link if anyone fancies a day out Lancaster bomber & classic bikes always a good mix. http://www.skellingthorpe-motorcycleclu ... 202013.pdf.

Well i have got to say Paul that your bike is very impressive and an inspiration - especially as you do all the work in the kitchen or outside.

If mine turns out half as good i'll be pleased.

Thanks, your engine looks cleaner than mine! Looks like some polishing is in order when I finally get it back in the bike. Will have to put it back half assembled(just bottom end) and then do the top end whilst on the bike as it is too heavy to carry downstairs and get in the bike on my own fully assembled

Here are some pictures of my limited space in the garden and one of the model 8 as it is at present with the engine a box out, panels and tank are in the house, the rest is covered in ACF 50
