I used JB weld (the two part mix stuff(grey) and not the putty) as it is just about everything proof because I am not sure about the properties of Araldite. I have even used the stuff to attach a small petrol filter which came loose in my Yamaha petrol tank which is submersed in petrol all the time and it is still there!!greasemonkey62 wrote:Thanks for that, now to decide after it arrives how to permanently fix it in, araldite or JB Weld as suggested.

Evostick... That's a good old fashioned contact adhesive that my dad used to swear by. He used loads of it covering the kitchen in Formica ( remember that stuff?) we loved the smell! Nowadays that would be called glue sniffing. If you use it, it is a contact adhesive, ie: coat both surfaces, leave to dry, press togetherRAY BOWMAN wrote:I used evostick on mine it has not come off yet.
