Timing side cover winged Matchless badge

Post by greasemonkey62 »

The red circular Matchless badge on the side of the timing side cover had disappeared when I returned from a good run out, I don't see these on the clubs spares list, does anyone know if they are available anywhere else? and how they are fixed on? All there is is a round brass stem in the middle of the place it should be.

Cheers Ray.

Thanks for that, I couldn't find them on the spares lists, I thought they were no longer available and not happy last night, chirpy and cheerful again now, lol.

Many thanks Ray.

The original badge was dropped off twins in th early 50's, later the logo was updated (hence new part no.) and fitted to lightweights.

Thanks for that, now to decide after it arrives how to permanently fix it in, araldite or JB Weld as suggested.
