I won my election fair and square. If I hadn't won I would have protested because it was rigged.

Thanks Eamonn, Clive and Mick, my posts are now being made as a member!
Mick, where can I get the bits to make up a draw bolt please, I can't see what's needed in the spares lists?
Thanks, Steve S

Hi Steve
There are a couple of relevant articles here:
http://www.jampot.com/article_read.asp?id=537
http://www.jampot.com/article_read.asp?id=538
These detail what you need and most bits can be sourced in B&Q / Screwfix etc. but you'll need a spare domed fork leg top nut to butcher. To be honest I'm not sure it's worth making your own, I purchased a ready made item for less than £20 from Steve at AMC Classic Spares. Maybe there's someone near to you with a tool they're willing to loan.
Regards Mick

Do you mean the tool for pulling the fork back up into the yokes? You can buy one from the club spares. http://www.amoc-parts.com/store/comersu ... duct=22482

Thanks to you both, I will buy from the club spares scheme along with a few other parts I hadn't anticipated needing!

Re: AJS Model 8 seized teledraulic forks
Hi, the spares department don't have the fork puller tool in stock and can't find anyone to make some at present. Would a kind member be willing to lend me one for my 1 1/8 forks please?

I'm sure I've got a spare one. I'll have a look (when I've finished my coffee!)
