Not long now until we find out what it sells for
Interesting how it's new bidders raising the bid price
I hope they don't part with any money until they have seen it
There was some fresh rubbery filler between the timing casing about 3/8 thick that did not look quite right to me and a pool of oil under the engine. I hope he has got it to start.

I hope it turns out to be a good bike with just a small inexpensive amount of work needed for the person that buys it, over £3,100 @ 06:15 am

Bid finished, sold for £3,112
Let's hope the new owner restores her to her former glory
At least my wife will be glad I now stop talking about it!

And it's given a bunch of cynical, grizzled old AMOCers 7 pages of assumption, nit pick and suppositions, so worth posting the ad on eBay just for that.. :D

I'm almost tempted to put my 1959 16MS up for sale just to see!! Concentric, indicators, electronic ignition, aftermarket clutch lever...12v electrics...totally butchered!! :D :D

Would also be interesting to see what it would make...although it cant be sold as my youngest son (15) cheered my dad up hugely when he told him earlier this year that he wanted to own it when he was older! (My dad bought it in 1986).
