Short stroke piston rings

Post by Peter Morris »

Does anyone know where I can get a set of STD piston rings for a 1962/3 short stroke 350cc please? Standard factory 74mm (BHB) piston.

Thanks

Peter,
If no joy with Thorntons, then Cox & Turner will definitely be able to help, they supplied a single ring to me about 18 months ago. The man to speak to is John on 01425 652627 - incredibly knowledgeable, or email info@coxandturner.co.uk

Thanks Sean,

A member friend told me about a set of NOS 7R rings on eBay that are the right size..... apparently, so I have bought them.

The individual sizes of the rings are marked on the pack (Wellworthy) so should be ok :?

If not I will try your and Dave's suggestions.

Thanks again
Peter

Honda XL250 is 74 bore, 50's 7R is 74 bore, but there must be other dimensions than that to consider.
