Morning All,
I'm in the process of refreshing my 41G3L engine and the timing side bush needs replacing, it still has the timing side roller bearing, is it worth replacing the whole set up for the later timing bush (017489)? If so what are the advantages (if any) of doing this?
Some other info, the compression plate is going to be removed and 'H' cams fitted, and 1" carb fitted, if this has any effect on the above decision?
Many thanks for any info,
Stay well.

Re: 41 g3l wd
The WD type timing side bush is only about £17 but the roller bearing is only available from Vintage bearing Co for £350! so I'd keep it if it's OK and just replace the bush.
