I am putting my 1959 G3, with 500 top end, back together after stripping it to put a couple of helicoils in the head.
I'm getting an oil leak from the pushrod tubes and there is discernable gap at the bottom. There's always been a bit of weeping but nothing serious.
I am looking to replace all the seals as I found there was not a metal washer at the top and only the long rubber tube "010672"
Do I need all the others listed in the pdf manual diagram or are some for different years of manufacture?
I've also seen on this forum about replacing them with BS 134 o rings which should be easy to locate locally apart from the metal washers.
Not sure which way to go...
Thanks for looking.
Neil

There is a metal washer above the top rubber and a dished shape washer below that fits upside down over the tube radius.

Re: Pushrod tube seals.
Don't forget the improvement 'mod' to replace the rubber tube with a stack of O rings (4 if I recall).
Hopefully somebody will be able to find the link to the relevant info and post it here.
