My 1949 ridgid G80 does not have the correct arrangement of spacers etc on the rear axle. It has a larger brake than 1947 and a larger hole in the backing plate. The rear axle is in poor condition and is longer than a 1947 one. Does anyone have a diagram of the correct arrangement of parts with dimensions?

Robert,
I have a 1949 rigid AJS Model 18, which I think is the same in the back wheel. What are you missing ? The parts book shows all the required bits, in a disconnected unmeasured way...
Bike is currently a fair way away, but could probably measure bits if you don't get any immediate answers. I had to make a few spacers to suit, just juggled everything about to suit and trial fitted until it worked - but the special shaped bits were all there. Speedo drive gearbox has to be solidly supported both sides, or will crush the thin alloy wall...
Cheers,
Rohan,
Sunny Oz.
