There are no factory records of these bikes so it is not possible to confirm what you have.

are the frame and engine numbers correct for the years though regardless them being typhoons or not?i am assuming the frame numbers are on the r side of downtube starting with a small c then large stamped numbers. there are other numbers but i am assuming they are casting numbers.i am just not familiar with them so i dont know..any help would be greatly appreciated .i also own a '55 asj18s(restored) a '53 ajs 500 twin( being restorded as i write this,a 58 ajs cs 650 twin with hurricane engine, and a g12 matchless 650 twin. i am enjoying the AMC products but need to learn more about them.

I believe all Typhoons were exported to the North America. I have compared the frame numbers you gave with those in the North American Section registry & both fall within batches of TCS bikes listed. Note that 1959 top ends differ from 1960-up & parts cannot be mixed. Good Luck! Don.
