Small end bush

Post by mikeydpippin »

The hole in the top end is not completely open the gudgeon pin runs through the bush ok but the small end bush seems to have moved slightly at sometime and covered about a third of the hole.
Do I redrill??

Hi Mike,

If the bush is central in the con rod I would re-drill very gently or if off centre maybe needs a push in the right direction

Thanks Colin, reassurance is a splendid thing, all done and piston fitted, feels like a bit of fine scraping going on (rings bedding in?) but no scratching of bore, so good to go.
Thanks again.
