Looking for a new chaincase!

Post by Lassenc »

Hi!

As I am currently searching for a chaincase for my AJS Model 18 S '52, I have been offereda chaincase from a Norton P11, would this fit?

If anyone has a chaincase that would fit mine they want to part with, please write :)

Thanks in advance, Lasse!

No
ebay 4573858109 is what it looks like
all you need to do is find the other half, at half the price nearer home, or try one of the used parts suppliers listed here recently

Tin* cases changed some over the years & the road & competition were different but I think any from a H/W single would fit. Tin cases from any twin are different & would need much modification. Alloy cases, ('58-up road, '60-up comp, & all twins 58-up) would require major revision but with enough cutting & welding anything can be done.
*"Tin" is easier to type than "Pressed Steel". Cheers, Don.
