Would I be able to have a 120/90-18 tire on my front, as I do on my rear, without interrupting anything?
Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to measure
It's an AJS Model 18S

The distance between my forks with metal spring covers is approximately 5". Between those with gaiters is about 3/4" less, but rubber gaiters vary in size.
Imperial sizes in 1/4" increments, will conform to the nominal size. A 4:00x19 will be 4.00" wide regardless of maker.
Tire widths can vary among different makers & tread designs with the same nominal metric size. I have a Maxxis 120x19 tire that measures 127mm, (5"), across the knobby tread. Other tread designs & makers will vary, sometimes by a considerable amount.
120mm, (5"), is a very big tire for the front & is likely to result in sluggish steering but 4:00x19 were popular on our "Desert Sleds" that run mostly over hot, dry, soft sand & rocks. A little sluggishness can help keep a, (more or less), straight line.

Install a set of Harley-Davidson Wide Glide forks & you can go up to about 6 1/2" wide.
Just Kidding! Cheers, Don.
