Has anyone else suffered the indignity of falling off in front of a crowd of teenagers because the folding bit of the kick-start fell off ?
Well it happened to me last night
When you expect 20 ish stone to be applied to the right side of the bike and it doesn't happen but the remaining shaft of the kick start is up yer trouser leg its hard to stay upright.
Fortunately despite all that stuff about "Kids today" they were puzzled by references to a kick start and utterly baffled by the lack of a button to start a bike. But quite happy to push the bike to get it started. They were last seen jumping for joy as I thundered off into the distance.
