How do I fit an air filter between carb and hole in rear frame cover

Hi Mike, it looks like you have a central hole in the panel that might pose a problem if coming straight off the end of the carburettor.

Absolutely right Duncan, it's the correct panel, how do I fit an air filter, or how did an air filter fit?.
Looking at photos on the internet some have the round air filters.

You have twin panels there Mike, the single panels are offset to match the carb which might make it easier to fit a filter.
