I,m looking to replace my exhaust (G80 500cc) on the G3,s the silencer is bolted into the back of the rear foot peg.
But on my bike the rear of the foot peg has no thread, does the silencer need a bracket to fix it?
Maybe,
026489s 1 1/2â€
026554s 1 3/4â€
Or
021916s 2 7/8â€
If so does it fix to the bolt approx 1†away from the rear footpeg?
Will ring Armours or Feked.

Re: Exhaust
Check your parts list for pic of silencer bracket, sales cat to see where it fits. Is there a bolt hole at the back of the Triangular web to take the bracket bolt. Cannot upload any pics due to web site space problem I guess.

Re: Exhaust
For 1963 on bikes the silencer was longer and cigar shaped and had an integral bracket welded on, this was fixed to the rear sub frame using the hole that is approx 1" forward of the pillion footrest. As far as I'm aware there are no pictures of this in the ' 63/'64 parts list.

Re: Exhaust
Thanks James, I see there's a bolt 1†forward of the rear peg, that explains the fixings ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
