Furred up?

I'll take off the plastic cover to inspect it a bit.

Is there any upgrade for the magneto? Or any other thing I can do to improve?

Hi Lassenc
If the tickler spills out petrol when you depress it you must have a good supply of fuel. The plug will not necessarily appear wet. Is the choke slide operating correctly? (put your finger in the carb mouth and make sure it is going up and down)

Have you checked the timing? That may have slipped. If you have a good spark (plug held against cylinder head) it should go.

Electronic ignition is marginally better than a mag but I would get it running properly with the mag before changing to EI. Mags are pretty reliable and have a lot of benefits over EI.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
