The tires on my ‘61 G80CS are period Dunlop Trials Universals with good tread but some sidewall cracking. I'm going to save them in case I ever want to show the bike. I want to keep trials tires for the period look and since I will be riding dirt and gravel roads. It's been hard finding 19†tires. I ordered Duro HF 307 tires and they were suspiciously inexpensive (48$ for the front and 70$ for the rear). Here is the Duro rear on the left next to the mounted Dunlop.
Any experience with these? I doubt that I will be pushing them very hard - maybe 50mph on the roads but rarely. Should I be looking at something else.

Re: G80CS Trials Tires
I fitted a pair of Mitas E-05 tyres to my '56 G80CS. 4.00-19" on the rear, a 3.00-21" on the front. They look very similar to yours.
I'm from the Fens.... Gimme six.

21†front wheel is interesting Pharises. Do you ride the bike great off road? Is the wheel original? I had a Honda XL500 with a 23†front wheel. Ben

21" was a standard fitment here in the UK, from 1960 ish the 19" front was offered as an option, probably mainly to the guys in the US.

I also use Mita's on my 18S and another US member asked about them after seeing a photo of my bike, but later he told me he was unable to locate them in the US, Cliff.. I also run on 4.00-19" on the rear, a 3.00-21" on the front. These are the photo's I sent him, the post must of been about a year ago..
