So sorry... an oil thread! Horror!
My, new to me, 1950 Model 18 Tele/rigid manual says SAE60 in engine and gearbox.
I wondered if that still stands or if Hypoid 80W90 is a better bet in the 'box and straight 50 in the engine and primary?
Really, I just wondered what everyone else pits in theirs...

50 in engine and box, 30 in primary.

Every day's a school day, Just looked through some old owners books on the Archive and never knew that Castrol "Grand Prix" was SAE60 until 1953, as the other oils that were SAE60 also become SAE50 at this time would it have been a change in formula or just using a standard assessment process and SAE60 back then always was what we now call SAE50?
