drum offset

Post by ducati2242 »

I am midway through a rebuild of a 1955 matchless G9 . I bought it as a basket case with just about everything dismantled . Lots of either missing or incorrect parts but getting there . The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt and fitted to the newly powder coated frame . Forks and jampots rebuilt and installed along with front mudguard . I have just started rebuilding the front wheel with new stainless spokes and rim , rear is next , the hubs came free of rims so I didnt have the opportunity to measure anything . I dont believe there is any offset as the spokes are all the same size and no bends , although rear spokes are are longer , Without me fitting the wheel and measuring up does any one know if there is an off set or am I correct to think that the drums are central . Thanks for any advice .

Central, no off set on the full width alloy hubs.
