Unknown Bracket

Post by JakeRoorda »

I recently purchased a 1953 M20, which appears complete, but it came with a box of "extra" parts. Can anyone tell me what this bracket is for?

There is supposed to be a photo attached, i hope. Thanks in advance, Jake (PS - I hope this works; system illiteracy sufferer)

when you browsed and opened the file to attach, did you then select " place in line " then wait for it to upload, and see the file name appear with your text.?

It looks like one of a pair that attach the bottom front of the rear mudguard to the frame. Part number 022250 in the 1957 spares list.

i think the clue is in the metric bolt and nyloc nut. Its the bit you need to keep in a safe place just in case it will come in handy one day, but you only have one and you need two. Best of luck, how many more brackets are on the photo list. look forward to them all.
Ps. photo a rule next to the component next time and give us a clue
