Rear Wheel Spacers - Help Please

Post by Robin42 »

Help Please 1958 M30
I am trying to get one of my fathers bikes ready for mot.
Several years ago the rear wheel was removed and the spacers / spindle put in a box.
Unfortunately my father has alzheimers, not really bad, but enough to stop him remembering what order the spacers go in and i think i have one missing.

Could someone point me in the right direction or do you know where i could find a picture etc - i have gone through a 58 parts manual but can not see anything i have not got.
As i look at bike from rear, the left fork of the swinging arm does not have a spacer in the fork itself, and the brake plate spacer seems a bit small (i bought some new ones from Jampot spares)
All my bikes are modern and are nothing like this.

I'm keen to get it sorted asap, he is not allowed to ride, so at least i can get him on the back and take him for a blast (must remember down for up on rhs !!!). Everything else is done.

Any suggestions welcome - Many Thanks

Jason
