Hi all
Trying to locate some missing parts from my next project a 66 g12.
I see the jampot spares list 030041 bottom fork cover tubes. Can anyone tell me
If this part is for the long road holders forks ?
Many Thanks
Andy

Re: 66 ( I think ) g12 Norton forks
They are not.
According to the parts book, the correct part number is NM50117 (Fork slider extension). This is not listed in the N-V supersession list, however Andover-Norton lists "FORK SLIDER EXTENSION (50117) (LONG) part-no: 03.0453".
So, your part number is 030453. They are available with Andover Norton.
For other "Roadholder" parts, please look up the G15 parts fiche at A-N.

030041 is the Black enamel spring cover not the oil seal holder 030453. The description is not the best though stating it as bottom spring cover.mdt-son wrote:They are not.

Re: 66 ( I think ) g12 Norton forks
Hi all
I now have another problem
Assembled forks and without weight if bike on forks I can only see approx one inch of the chrome slider
Extensions
The problem is the in the damper assembly I must have either a shorter alloy damper tube or shorter damper rods
I have 25†stanchions
5†slider extensions
8.5†enamel shrouds
Alloy damper tube 9â€
Damper rod 20â€
My question is with 25†stanchions but length are the alloy damper tubes and the damping rods that go into them ?
Many thanks
Andy

For Future reference alloy tubes should be 10.50"
