1936 model 12 fork spring

Post by vintage honda »

hi all, i think i have the wrong girder fork spring for my bike, rob has sent me a pic of the spring, but i cant see how this fix's into the top part of the links, the parts book dont show it, so has anyone has a spring and mounting pice, or has any one got a pic of one out of the frame.
cheers. alan

Its only a nut & bolt, send me another e mail to prewar@jampot.com i'll send you a scan showing where the spring bolts onto,
the only fiddly bit is getting the nut and washer inside the spring to start the bolt screwing in. send a pic also of your spring and forks. you could look at the parts in the 1935 handbook/parts list there is no 1936 AJS parts list known to exist
