Silver Hawk help

Post by Wilde2 »

Hi,

I am a new member and have question about a Silver Hawk in bits. Are there enough spares/parts made to get it complete?

Parts are:

Frame with number
Engine (in bits) with number
Gearbox (in bits)
2 wheels
Chain guard
Speedo shroud
Fuel tank with gear selector
Suspension springs
Chain
Numerous engine brackets

Front forks are missing, are they common with other models? Same with mudguards

Any advice appreciated.

Best

Most parts will have to be made. Some owners have had parts made or made parts. You would need to be in the prewar e group to know if any parts are to be made. The number of parts made will only be for those ordering at the time.
The club stocks a number of small parts, I have made an excel file to quickly identify these parts, but it is not in use yet.

If you check the parts list and club spares, after converting old Hawk pt.no's to new, you will find some small parts in club spares.
Even at least one part listed with its old pt. no.
