German model D needs a sidecar ?

Post by Karsten »

Hi, or as we say in North Germany "Moin",
I am a very long time the proud owner of an AJS Model D.
The motorcycle has been restored very time-consuming to me,
because it was in very poor condition.
Since its completion, I've been looking for a suitable sidecar,
but in Germany, I have never found anything.
Maybe you have a tip for me?

Thanks and Regards
Karsten

ps. I'd like to insert 2-3 images, but do not know how or if I ever allowed.

No, I am reminded that I was ever a member of the AMC in the nineties.
At that time I was treated just indifferent and rude.
If you do not even have me here to assist the pictures may ........................
On the other hand my post but should check for hours ?
This I know from Germany completely different.

Karsten, I am the club prewar Officer. There is a size limit for pictures to be posted on the forum. If you have a problem posting a picture e mail it to me Prewar@jampot.com I will re size the picture and post it. I have many contacts in Germany also the person making AJS side cars in Germany is a good friend.
I am very sorry to hear you felt you were treated rudely back in the 1990's when you were a club member. Why not give us a chance to prove we are a friendly club. I was made Prewar officer for the club soon after the early 1990's. I do my best to help all prewar bike owners in the club.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your answer !
With the size of my pictures there will probably be no problem.
I just do not know how I can upload one here ??
In other forums I just click on a botton and can then upload my pictures directly.
An avatar image I also can not upload.
"The function is deactivated", is written there.
A replica Sidecar I would not prefer to buy, the address
of your contact here in Germany I would be interested but still.

Thanks and regards
Karsten

Moin Rob,
I've found it, thank you very much.
Why I'am logged in as a guest, I know nothing about that ?
By Swen I had contact, he just have Sidecars for younger models.
I am searching actually not the original Sidecar because of me is too big.
I search for a little lighter, as it has also offered AJS (see photo)

Thanks and regards
Karsten
